Il Canto delle Parole: Bellini e Pirandello Tra Musica e Teatro

Join us for an evening dedicated to Luigi Pirandello, Nobel laureate in Literature, on the ninetieth anniversary of his death, and to his fellow countryman Vincenzo Bellini, one of Italian music's great protagonists.

Two extraordinary exponents of Sicilian culture, Pirandello and Bellini, converge for an evening that intertwines words, music, and theatre through their works, their land, and their way of describing people and their passions.

Join us for an enchanting evening of bel canto at the historic YMCA Auditorium in the heart of Jerusalem. Autor Itzhak Eugenio de'Giorgi and our Vocal Ensemble, under the musical direction of Dr. Sofia Mazar, celebrate the luminous genius of two great artists, Luigi Pirandello and Vincenzo Bellini, bringing together some of their most beloved and masterfully crafted works. Pirandello's theatrical works and Bellini's soaring melodies and exquisite vocal writing have captivated audiences for years—come experience these masters' beauty and elegance in an intimate setting.
